Kitchen Stori Winslow | Classic Charm in Sage Green with Quartz & Bespoke Features

This breathtaking Kitchen Stori Winslow kitchen in a Sage Green painted finish is a prime example of thoughtful design, blending classic elegance with practical functionality. Created as part of a brand-new extension at the rear of the property, this space allowed for a larger, more impressive kitchen while also making way for a long, highly functional utility room, which we also fitted as part of the project.

Every element in this kitchen has been carefully designed to enhance both aesthetics and practicality, ensuring that the space flows effortlessly while maximizing its potential.

A Kitchen Designed Around Structural Challenges

One of the most intricate aspects of this project was designing the mantle area, which serves as both a striking focal point and a clever solution to conceal structural elements.

• A vertical steel column beam, required to support the horizontal steel that facilitated the extension, was seamlessly hidden within the right-hand side of the mantle.

• This structural necessity dictated the mantle’s placement on this elevation, ensuring that the beam remained invisible.

• To maximize functionality, we incorporated an open unit within the left side of the mantle recess, utilizing space that would have otherwise been wasted within the mantle framework.

• The top of the mantle was framed with a bespoke shelf detail, painted in Sage Green, enhancing the sense of depth and refinement.

Elegant Cabinetry & Luxurious Detailing

The Kitchen Stori Winslow range was the perfect choice for this space, with its timeless inframe-style doors. The cabinet interiors were finished in Egger Davos Oak, creating a warm contrast to the soft green exterior.

For the finishing touches, we specified Crofts & Assinder Monmouth handles in American Bronze, adding a heritage-inspired elegance that complements the cabinetry beautifully.

The kitchen was further refined with decorative moulded skirting plinths, a subtle yet effective detail that enhances the classic appeal of the space.

Quartz Worktops & Custom Finishing Details

The 30mm Statuario Premium Quartz worktops elevate the kitchen, bringing luxury and durability to the forefront. Several bespoke enhancements were incorporated into the design to create a cohesive and refined look:

• The upstands were increased in height to sit flush with the window cill, ensuring a seamless flow.

• A quartz window cill was installed, tying together the worktops and splashback for a perfectly coordinated finish.

• Within the mantle area, the full-height quartz splashback enhances the statement design, complementing the Neff integrated extractor hidden within.

A Stunning Island with Ambient Lighting

At the heart of this kitchen is the expansive island, designed to be both practical and inviting. It features:

• Comfortable seating for 3-4 people, making it an ideal spot for casual dining and entertaining.

• Rebated LED lighting beneath the quartz worktop, creating a soft, ambient glow that enhances the overall atmosphere.

• The stunning crystal pendant light, positioned above the island, further elevates the elegance of the space, casting a beautiful reflection and adding a touch of grandeur.

Seamless Appliance Integration for Modern Convenience

To ensure effortless functionality, we incorporated Neff appliances throughout, blending modern technology with a timeless aesthetic:

• Two Neff N90 series flex design oven’s, delivering huge cooking capacity and professional-grade cooking performance.

• Neff 75cm gas-on-tempered-glass hob, providing precision cooking with a sleek, contemporary look.

• Neff integrated extractor, discreetly hidden within the mantle to maintain clean lines.

• Neff full-height integrated fridge & freezer, ensuring seamless storage solutions.

• Neff integrated dishwasher, enhancing convenience while preserving the kitchen’s uncluttered design.

Classic Belfast Sink & Elegant Brass Fixtures

The Belfast ceramic sink by Thomas Denby is a central feature, providing timeless charm and practicality. This was paired with an Abode Fenton tap in Antique Brass, along with a matching handspray, bringing warmth and vintage character to the space.

Luxury Flooring & Finishing Touches

The flooring was selected to complement the soft green cabinetry and classic detailing, featuring:

• Pale neutral wood LVT in a herringbone pattern, balancing warmth and elegance while providing a durable, easy-to-maintain surface.

• New anthracite vertical radiators, blending contemporary styling with powerful performance.

Bespoke Utility Room for a Cohesive Look

As part of this project, we also designed and installed a long utility room, maximizing storage and functionality while maintaining a consistent design aesthetic. The space was tailored to provide ample storage, allowing the homeowners to keep their kitchen clutter-free and highly efficient.
