Atlantic's two storey showroom is one of the largest in the area, 
with around 30 displays of showers and bathroom suites including accessories and tiles, most are set in room size layouts so it makes choosing easier. Our Kitchen studio has several large displays, showcasing everything from the latest appliances, flooring, worktops and storage systems.

A visit to our showroom will provide an insight into Atlantics’ expertise and you can read the wonderful compliments we receive from customers which are proudly displayed in the showroom.

Showroom Tour

The tour above allows you to navigate around the showroom, which is across two stories. Our kitchen displays are downstairs and our bathroom settings are primarily on the first floor. We have a tile studio at the back of the upper floor, where you will be able to get a feel for the vast variety of wall and floor coverings we have available. You can click and interact with the green buttons during the tour and they will provide additional information, some include detailed product feature videos for you to enjoy.

WORKING DISPLAYS

The majority of the products in our showroom are fully powered ready for you to interact with them. This includes all of the kitchen appliances, which are setup in demonstration mode. We also have a fully working Neff demonstration kitchen where we periodically host cooking presentations. In our Bathroom department, our backlit illuminated mirrors, cabinets and audio systems are working too, so you can really appreciate the effectiveness of them before deciding which option is right for you.

MATERIAL CHOICES

Not only do we have plenty of stunning kitchen and bathroom displays to contemplate and peruse around, we also have thousands of samples of different products that we can call upon for even greater choice. This includes, bathroom and kitchen doors samples along with coordinating worktop materials from the likes of Silestone, Dekton and Sensa Granite. We have hundred of handle options, LVT flooring, paint swatches and wall and floor tiles from all around the world.

Remote Facilities and Assistance

For those customers who may be shielding and would rather not to come and see us at this time, we have implemented some remote facilities and tools to help offer you assistance during these unprecedented times.

We have now launched our online kitchen planner which will enable you to design your dream kitchen from scratch, right from the comfort of your armchair! You can save projects and come back to them later, amend previous designs and tweak until your heart is content. Once you have finished you can save your project information and receive your personal plan as a PDF file by e-mail.

Better still, if you would like further design assistance or an idea of cost, we can even import your work into our in-house software to offer you our professional guidance and take the project to the next stage.

We also have our showroom digitally mapped so you can visit us virtually! The tour allows you to browse around our entire showroom across both floors. Simply point your mouse and click where you would like to move to. You will also find various things to interact with. Some products even have videos associated with them, allowing you to learn more about about the latest product features. We even have brochure and range information available on most of our furniture products, allowing you to see all of different colours and finishes we have available.

WHICH? Trusted Traders is an endorsement scheme orchestrated by the long-established and well-respected Consumer Champion, WHICH? The scheme was introduced to create a national database where members of the public can find tradesman and companies that offer a level of service that can be relied upon to provide a good service and remove to a minimum the level of risk when choosing a supplier. The scheme recognises reputable traders who successfully pass their rigorous assessment process which scrutinises all aspects of their operation to ensure that they fully comply. Every element of the business is reviewed and only a very small percentage of the companies vetted are accepted into the scheme. Apparently, most companies fail the screening process which demonstrates how stringent their standards are!

The following forms the basis of the criteria which a company must pass to become accredited;

• Firstly, a full credit check is conducted to ensure the company is on a sound financial footing and that the appropriate procedures are in place for customer payments to be made in a fair and ethical order throughout the transaction. Our business was found to be financially sound and our payment structure was found to be very fair.
• An independent check is made at random from a selection of previous customer references to verify overall customer satisfaction when dealing with the company. We supplied details of previous customers ranging from some very recent projects to some installed almost 15 years ago and the feedback WHICH? received from them was very complimentary to Atlantic and the service they have received from us.
• A personal visit from a Which? Trusted Traders Assessor, to examine our premises, business procedures, company documentation, terms and conditions and all aspects that are relevant to a potential customer are reviewed. After a few very minor tweaks to some wording on our terms and conditions, our procedures passed with flying colours. Especially the computerised customer pricing and information system we operate that offers simple price comparisons on product options.
• Finally the company must agree to abide by the Which? Trusted Traders Code of Conduct and their Terms and Conditions, which offers customers a high level of protection and peace of mind when dealing with a Trusted Trader. Our performance is then monitored to ensure we comply with their recommendations.

It all started back in 1999...

It's December 1999, Cliff Richard was number one in the charts and Atlantic was in its infancy. Al, along with his teams of carpenters, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, tilers, decorators and floor contractors spent a full month stripping out and constructing the new showroom, with many of the trades working tirelessly through the day and well into the night to help transform the old building into what has now become one of the longest established, award winning and highest reviewed home improvement centres in Norwich. 

Al's son Lewis joined Atlantic in 2005, young, enthusiastic and with a background in sales he began absorbing the intricate technical and product knowledge needed to assist and eventually help shape and develop the business through the coming years. 

Despite the financial crisis in 2008, and the difficult trading period that ensued. Atlantic's dedication to maintaining the highest possible standards of installation and service were the key ingredients that allowed them to successfully weather the storm. 

We are now approaching our 20 year anniversary in business and we are stronger than ever. We have a fantastic team of staff and sub contractors and we very much look forward to the next 20 years!
