Cloakroom Project in Bintree

We had previously transformed their bathroom back in 2005, and we were extremely pleased when in 2018, like many of our clients that choose Atlantic for their first project, they often return to us for further projects, knowing they can rely upon the sound advice, quality products and first class workmanship. This time their focus became the downstairs cloakroom refurbishment! We visited them to discuss the options, and after subsequent showroom meetings to sort out the finer details, we were grateful to receive their trust and confidence again and their instructions to complete the work for them. 

smooth LINES AND easy to clean

They fell in love with the lined pattern of the Colorker Touch Vision tiles, and decided to continue the pattern above the furniture by introducing the scored feature tile as a short height splashback to finish just under the existing window sill. We agreed with the customer that the gloss grey furniture would look stunning against the tiles, with the plain finish being more sympathetic to the tiles rather than introducing another texture or pattern. Sometimes, it's best to only introduce one or two features as too many can become quite over-powering and this can spoil the design! Keeping the furniture a simple gloss finish helped to reflect the light and create the impression of more space which is always important when working in cloakrooms!

Vitra Zentrum

Practical and easy to keep clean. The VitrA Zentrum range of sanitary ware is simple and elegant. The basin projection in front of the furniture is less than some other alternatives, providing the perfect compromise between space in the room and a decent sized wash basin.

Corian

The finishing touch to bring all of the room together was the Silver Birch Corian work surface. The brighter flecks of colour compliment the white VitrA sanitary ware and the customers’ painted walls, whilst the darker silver works brilliantly with the furniture fronts.
